Jian Feng and his wife had a first child who grew up to be ugly. He saw that his wife was beautiful, maybe he thought she was Italian and not Chinese. So where Jiang Feng wondered did this ugly duckling come from? Had his wife cheated on him?
No. His wife spent something like $100,000 on numerous plastic surgeries that turned her plainess into pulchritude. And that was why their child did not resemble her. But what if the child resembled her mother in law? That's what I would have said if I was her lawyer.
So Jian Feng sued his wife for falsely pretending she was always as beautiful as she looks today. He complained that his wife had married him under the false pretense of original beauty when she was originally ugly though very beautiful at present. So whom is he taking to bed? Her past or her present?
Anyway, the Chinese court held in his favor granted him a divorce, disowned his daughter and fined his wife $120,000 in damages for beauty that was only skin deep.
I would have argued that her beauty went deeper because she took the trouble, endured the pain and incurred the cost of making herself beautiful for him. Sadly that transformation did not automatically extend to their natural child. But that is remediable.
If I was judge I would grant divorce to the wife, impose alimony on the ex-husband and exemplary damages for being a total jerk, along with compensatory damages to pay for plastic surgeries that will make his daughter as pretty as his wife.
And there you have Chinese law and justice. Before China takes over our country, I urge you all to see Vicki Bello, but ask her to destroy all records of your surgeries or do your siblings like someone we know.
Keep well.
