Teditorial: Getting High Naturally

You will have a better chance scoring with girls if they think they can lick your Barong or set you on fire and inhale you.

By: Teddy Locsin Jr.

Washington and Colorado legalized marijuana in the last US elections joining California but extending it to recreational use, which is the only good reason for smoking it.

Legalizing marijuana will cause economic distress to the police until wage increases make up for the loss of income from planting evidence. Handicrafts will pick up as bongs are sold openly. Agri research in hydrophonics will come in handy for those who don't own haciendas to grow their own at home.

With wider use comes more discriminating taste so branding will emerge not just any grass will do anymore. Where and when planted, organic or not, and how picked and packaged will be keys to commercial success.

Agri jobs will be created and if anyone complains about wages, let em taste the product and grievances will go away like smoke.

There will be grass not just for brownies but jams, olive oil flavored with grass will make any dish delicious if not delirious. And energy drinks laced with maryjane will replace the adage no pain no gain with gain happily.

And last but not least the Barong Tagalog will experience a resurgence, its byproduct of hemp can be made into barongs, with this feature that you will have a better chance scoring with girls if they think they can lick your barong or set you on fire and inhale you.

But be warned, legalized grass is not a sure success. Unlike tobacco, it is not chemically addicting. You will take it because it makes you feel good and not because you will go crazy if you do not take it-like with cigarettes.

Plus, given the high approval rating of government, the country may already be high without the benefit of marijuana. Hunger has a tendency to produce the same euphoria, before you pass out with organ failure.

Keep well.
